Summer Job Opportunity: Camp Counselor in Maine

For the past two summers, I've been working as a camp counselor at Bethel Camp for the Arts, teaching robotics, rocketry, web design, and bridge building to 8-to-15-year-olds. (I actually found out about it through ChiefDelphi, believe it or not.) I'm looking at things closer to my major for this summer, but I'd go back in a heartbeat if I could.

I'm passing along the job posting from the camp; if you're of college age and a good teacher (past FLL mentors, take note), I'd encourage you to apply.

If you are looking to live and work with children in a small community, geared for bright and creative kids, feel free to fill out a staff application at www.maineartscamp.com. Salary for the month will vary from $1800-$2000, including room and board, for college age staff. For further information, contact Rick Mades, camp director, at 561-865-4330 or rick@maineartscamp.com.
The camp is held on the campus of Gould Academy in Bethel (although the two aren't affiliated otherwise), with everyone in hall-bath dorms. (And yes, you'll be able to check your email and CD.) If you have any other questions about the camp, feel free to send me a PM. I'll answer them to the best of my ability.

(Oh, and for any hardcore LEGO-heads out there, it's been all-RCX thus far.)
