I was up in the Boston area looking at colleges this weekend and found this article in the Worcester Magazine which i picked up while looking at WPI.
Here is a link to the article which as a whole is about a school in the area and what it is doing for the community. It features a section toward the end of the page on that schools team, 1085 discussing how it along with the other features of the school are giving previously unavailable opportunities to its students, which is exactly what FIRST was created to do.
