I meant 11?? in the two-ones-and-two-digits-I-didn't-know sense. I'll specify next time.

The most successful FIRST sponsor would be the one that put the most HS students into science and engineering programs at colleges and universities.

Four years from now a FIRST trophy will be worth about $12 on ebay. A four year engineering or science degree will have a life-time salary value starting around $2M, way more if you branch out and run your own business.

And the contributions to our society and the future of humanity are going to come from people with the best education and the best motivation.

Which sponsor has worked toward the goals of FIRST with the most success?

Beats me!
You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to KenWittlief again. (I think it's just a matter of clarification.)

I'm going to pull an Andy Grady here and bring up a great team of the past: What about the Pilgrim Nuclear Technology Alliance, sponsor of the retired team 23? They were active for five seasons, and brought home a Chairman's Award, two CA finalists, a Championship Rookie All-Star (basically bringing home some form of top-level recognition every year but their last, at which point they'd already won Chairman's), and a Woodie Flowers Award to boot. That's nothing to sneeze at.
