I'm not sure how you would really fairly measure this since there are so many ways to have a successful team in FIRST.
But I can tell you that for the 2006 season, the most successful starter of new teams is NASA. Of the 35 rookie teams that went to Championship this year, 19 of them include NASA in their name as sponsor.
Ewing Marion Kauffman sponsored 3 of the rookies at Championship. This is impressive considering this was the first year of their grant awards and they are very regional in their distribution of grants.
Diamler Chrysler and ITT each were sponsors of two of the rookie teams.
