I don't necessarily agree... Lets try to put biases behind us and look at the facts.

Xbox 360 has 3 symmetrical IBM processors, each running at or 3.2 ghz.
PS3 has a total of 7 "cell" processors running at 3.2ghz.
System Floating Point Performance:

Play station 3: 2 TFLOPS
Memory bandwidth:
Xbox 360: 22.4 Gb/s
Play station 3: 25.6 Gb/s
Disk Type:
Xbox 360: DVD and fully backwards compatible
Play station 3: Blue ray and fully backwards compatible (allows for more complexed games than can fit on DVD)
I/O
Xbox:

• Three USB 2.0 ports

Play station:

So if you look at the published specs, the Play station has far more potential as a game system... But I will believe the specs when I see the system myself. I believe, however that the play station 3 will out perform the xbox360, and that Sony will do a far better job than Microsoft did with distribution and product quality. We'll just have to wait 'till November 17th to see...
