All robots are programmed with either easyC using a competition template, or the specialised MPLAB code. Either option has code running in the background that will not run your code until your controls are turned on. At the field, you will plug the controls into the filed control system. The system will only allow the controls to send out a signal once the match has started.

To make your robot work, make ABSOLUTLY sure that you either use the templates in easyC or use the default MPLAB code which can be found on vexlabs.com . If you have any more questions, do not hesitate to ask .
