Now you make the common misconception that thoughts, ideas, and memories exist in a specific space inside your brain. The "area" they occupy, if it does exist, is completely unstable and nearly impossible to pinpoint over a prolonged period of time. Most likely the "location" of the memory is not in the same place it was at initial retention.

Rain makes things get wet[ter] (unless they're covered in some way).
