I joined FIRST because my brother was on it and he always told me about how much fun it was. I also used to participate in FLL in middle school. I went to the meeting and found that I was the only girl who participated. Even though I was only a freshman, I went to the meetings almost as often as the seniors. When I went to the competition, I meet someone there and we have been pen-pals ever since. I'm trying to convince some of my female friends to join the team so we have some diversity. Our team is quite small, but I'm trying to make it bigger! I LOVE FIRST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
