Both. WI had a VEX competition that was based on Savage Soccer game using the "uber tuber", but it was a completely different game known as "Who's got the Uber Tuber??"
To those unfamiliar with either game, the scoring object was a small piece of PVC with caps on the ends, though the caps weren't close (it looked like a dumbell seen here ).
These are much bigger. Can the cold cathode lights be run off of portable batteries? Put some cathode lights in these puppies and watch them glow (the wall thickness would have to be a bit smaller, but just think if the color could be remotely changed.....MWAHAHAHAHA).
