I can answer this one. A spike. M+ is positive m- is negative. actually it really doesn't matter because the light part isn't polarity sensitive, and the motor will either go forward or in reverse. If you are in a FRC comp you can just hook the positive lead in a circuit panel beaker-side. and the negative to the negative area. ALL SET!
edit: one problem...
the ones listed are 220V you'll need to buy 12vdc ones otherwise it could get complicated with inverters.
