Re: PS3 + WII... who was waiting or will wait???

I'm not sure whats the crying is all about...........

If something is not important to one, it might be important to someone else. I sold my PS3 to a guy who was a professional gamer and a graphic designer, he was waiting in line for more than 5 hours.....
Members who are complaining that waiting in line doesn't worth it, needs to look on the bright side. May be it was not important for them to stay in line for just a gamebox, but it might be important for someone else. If we all have a craze about FIRST, others also have a craze about Games and other things.

What if FIRST 2007 Game is to be released in a limited amount, and one has to wait in line to get it?
What if limited number of people are going to be allowed in a FIRST competition, and one has to camp over night just to enter the Arena?
Will you stay in line for all the above or not? Well i guess you will, because its something important to you.

Even though I'm not a gamer, but I'm still offended by a lot of comments in this thread.

As far as re-selling goes....... its called fair trade. And if i want to sell my PS3 for profit, I've all my rights to do a fair trade in terms of cash/check. Believe me, without fair trade, USA economy will be nothing.

Also, if you think all of these games worth nothing, or less money; than one should read simple phenomena of Supply, Demand and Profit. These Products are priced according to the laws of economics. Demand is high, supply is short....price goes sky high (even on ebay).

AND if you think that gaming is a waste of time, than i can name a lot of games which actually helps people with everyday skills.
Lets say World of Warcraft. At least that game will teach you the methods of economy and 'fair trade.'

Bottom line is that before we bash someone/something, its better to put ourselves in that position and realize how important it might be for other person.
