Re: Question on v-belts

Ahh the good 'ole Variable Diameter Pulley CVT. We're also working on one, but probably not for this coming season. For V belts, they are usually around 24-29 degrees for snowmobiles, and a lil' trig can help you calculate the base. You should also use pulleys that are around 24-29 degrees for being upshifting and squeezing of the pulleys. The actual degrees of the wall of the pulleys and the type of pulleys you are going to use need to work with the weights. Pretty much everything needs to work together. Sorry if that was confusing, I only had 2 hours of sleep.
