The most fascinating thing about this song is that anyone you ask who remembers it coming out in the 80's almost immediately thinks it was associated with one of the Rocky movies when in fact it was never used in any of them.
(Survivor's - Eye of the Tiger was the big song from the Rocky movies, not The Final Countdown)
The song came out 10 years after the first Rocky movie did (movie: 1976, and song: 1986).

But yes, I agree it is an awesome song and actually because of this thread and the commotion about the song I added the song to my myspace page. lol

And as far as another good song by Europe, check out Carrie. Awesome 80's love rock ballad.
