I go to Kettering (and know your sister) and am also in a sorority (a different one) and found that you are 100% correct, the university plays a large role in the function of a sorority or fraternity. Personally i LOVE my sorority but i have friends at other schools that decided to quit. I would just recommend to anyone who is considering going into Greek life, do your research and find out what the organization stands for.
