Once you've gotten good about that, start looking for old CH flightsticks. Compared to the past few years of sticks, they are excellent. My favorite aspect is the clear separation of the axis. Most sticks have something like a ball joint, the flightsticks had two joints, one for each axis. Difficult to explain but obvious when it's in front of you. Look closely at
this picture and you can see what he is describing. There is one axis that rotates inside of the other (Bad way of describing it).
