Welcome to these forums. Unfortunately, you probably won't find much help here, as this group doesn't do any designing of pneumatic valves. We are limited to purchasing off-the-shelf components, and we don't get into the inner workings of them.

However, I've found that the forums on engineersedge.com work very well. Also, there's a lot of general data there to research. My personal experience with moving seals only revolves around piston style o-ring seals The rules governing the design of these systems are very well documented. If you can get your hands on a "Parker O-Ring Handbook" you should be well on your way.
