It may meet the flowchart but still be disallowed if there is anyone who thinks it could interfere with another robot. If challenged at an event, the judging staff and/or inspector would be asked for closer scrutiny. If you are using it for a tally system to let your operator know when you are correctly positioned for scoring it is likely OK but you can port that data back to the OI and use one of the LED outputs on the OI for that purpose without drawing attention to your robot. If you are still unsure, PM me and we can discuss this further.
