Allright I have been searching the forums for over an hour now and I still cant find the answer to this question so, as much as I hate to do it I will start another thread.
I installed labview 8.2 and the VISA drivers. I also downloaded the cmu camera app and overwrote the file i needed to to make it the most current version. I also set the baud rate for com1 to 115200 like the documentation said. I attached the powered up camera to the serial port of my computer and after setting the cmu app to use com1 i ran it and it errors saying that it cannot connect to the camera.
any ideas?
EDIT: i found the error to our problem here:
http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=41864 it was just recently added. The problem is that you cannot have both the serial port and the ttl port plugged into the camera at the same time
