Working in the industry in place that makes connectors and cable assemblies, and more specifically in a cable engineering department, I can respect and second that suggestion!!!

All cable has a spec sheet with a minumum bending requirement that should be followed as closely as possible.

I'll see if I can pull some data up for the specific type of cable used on the Anderson quick disconnect if I can.
