In a recent conversation with a friend I mentioned the topic of PID to him. He was curious, and since he didn't really get the Wikipedia page (which confused me too before I read a few other sources) he asked me to write a quick article about it. So I did. The result is posted
here and hopefuly explains some basic control theory and PID concept/programming to people who never heard about it before. I'm posting it here to see if I can get some feedback before sending it to him (he moderates a message board specifically for FIRST teams in Israel, so he's going to translate it).
