Re: Question on mounting components

mounting on both side of the board is fine, provided you follow all the rules. Specifically, the indicator lights on the RC must be visible standing 3 feet in front of the robot in its starting configuration, and the breaker must be accessible for inspection. From a practical standpoint you're really going to want most of the parts to be accessible, or else you're going to give yourself quite a headache trouble shooting.
