The 2005 and 2007 Robot Controllers have different processors. You can't just swap one for the other without choosing the appropriate library files and recompiling the code.

I believe a 2006 (or an
upgraded 2005) Robot Controller should be considered identical to a 2007 Robot Controller, but I haven't seen anything in the Q&A to confirm that.
