But it screws up travel plans, if you're traveling to a regional.

The complete list of regionals on the first date (March 15, 3rd week):
  • Boilermaker Regional (West Lafayette, IN)
  • Chesapeake Regional (Annapolis, MD)
  • Detroit Regional (Detroit, MI)
  • Greater Kansas City Regional (Kansas City, MO)
  • Midwest Regional (Chicago, IL)
  • Peachtree Regional (Duluth, GA)
  • Silicon Valley Regional (San Jose, CA)
  • UTC Connecticut Regional (Hartford, CT)

The list of regionals on the second date (March 29, 5th week):
  • GM/Technion Israel Regional (Tel Aviv, TA)--It could happen
  • Colorado Regional (Denver, CO)
  • Greater Toronto Regional (Mississauga, ON)
  • Las Vegas Regional (Las Vegas, NV)
  • Lone Star Regional (Houston, TX)
  • Palmetto Regional (Columbia, SC)
  • Philadelphia Regional (Philadelphia, PA)
  • Sacramento Regional (Davis, CA)
  • SBPLI Long Island Regional (Hempstead, NY)
  • West Michigan Regional (Allendale, MI)

Any Michigan team attending a regional in either of these lists need to plan around this. I doubt that the schools can be flexible about it.
