Your best bet is probably to just use any ordinary part that is cylindrical, like screwdriver heads, or just something lathed like
these. Of course, it will be very difficult if you want triggers and the top button, because you'll need it to be hollow, but you could easily mount the same switches somewhere else on your OI and have them accessible.
