Code looks alright to me. Try different things, eg.
- Print TILT_SERVO itself - does it change?
- Create a new variable to hold the distance and then print it
- Use the (int) mask on the function and its argument
- Make sure you are downloading the newly compiled hex and not some old version
- Be nice to your eyes and include a \r\n in your print statement
