Window motors should not "burn up". They usually have thermal resistances built in to reduce current in the event of a stall. This is supposed to keep your car window from crushing an arm (neck or other bodily part) in the event that the window control is being accidentally pressed.

They will get warm to the touch if you are demanding too much current (too much torque) in your design.
