I would like to send congratulations to Dan as well for taking home the Woodie Flower's Award at BAE. Every mentor in FIRST probably deserves this award but Dan has done some pretty amazing things throughout his years with FIRST. I first knew Dan when I was working at a little company called Light Machines in Manchester he was there as well and helping to run another Manchester High School's FIRST team (Memorial HS) I happened to be on the West High team at the time, in those days a potential spy ;-) Later we knew each other from River Rage and seeing each other frequently at competitions. Fast Forward to a few years ago when, as I understand it, Dan became involved with the Trinity team (40). It has been pretty impressive to me to watch Trinity rise and Intelitek as well with the introduction of EasyC as well as Trinity's hosting of their "mini-FIRST" event using Vex robots, and continually producing solid machines and success on the playing field. Personally, I think it's a really great story. I know there are a lot of great people over on Team 40 both mentors and I am sure kids as well but I am confident that Dan has played his important part. So congratulations to Dan for Woodie Flowers and congratulations to Team 40, Intelitek and Trinity HS for a great partnership that continues to yield great success and benefit the entire FIRST community.

Congratulations!

Justin
