The (very few) proficient 2@12" ramps did very well, and even several 1@12" had a pretty big impact. But the lack of ramps led to a much more rack-focused style of play, and large rows became much more common as bots continued to attempt to score on the rack even during the last few seconds.
Many (including myself) feel that the winning alliance at Championship will have 3 bots capable of scoring well on the rack (at least 2 capable of easily scoring on all 3 levels, and 1+ capable of quickly removing spoilers), and a reliable 2@12" lift/ramp.

Definetly. Racks will be the name of the game in the elims at Nationals. Spoilers are finally going to be the most important game pieces. And those keepers will be invaulable when you have six robots on the field that score efficiently. The winning alliance is going to have one team that floor loads and one team that HP loads. Best way to distribute those tubes.
Anyway, congrats to 293, 75, and 203. Amazing machines. And 1727 for chairmans! Great job everyone. I had an awesome time volunteering. See you all next year!
