Hey all...
Just want to say congratulations to all the teams at the San Diego Regional. The event went great...and in all honesty, didn't even feel like a rookie regional (and I've been to my fair share). As a ref (I was the one who sat at the red alliance station and called most of the penalities on the red alliance...but i figured since I got scowled at and hugged...it couldn't have been that bad
) and part of the regional planning committee, I hope that all who participated had a great time. I know I did.
Congratulations again to the everyone involved, especially the winning alliance. Although, I have to admit, when I ref'd the first match on Friday and saw 1717 do their ramp thing...it brought a tear to my eye. And I love the Penguin dance...but now I'm off on a tangent.
