Otherwise you have to pay purchase $1.75 for subway tokens for every single trip. (Which is quite a pain, as at rush hour there can be long lines at the token vending machines in the stations.) With the pass, you just show the MARTA people at the turnstiles your pass and you go right through. No waiting, no lines. It's like the FastPass at Disney World.

Usually in past years, I'd use MARTA to get to and from the GA Dome, and then again in the evening once or twice, which would put me back about $6+ per day if I paid $1.75 for each trip. $13 for the five day pass beats $30 ($6 x 5 days) if you paid for each separate ride.
