Teched3, redrilling sounds like a good solution. Thanks also for letting me know that 16mm pins will work. I'll order a bunch for the new plates that arrived today.

How hard was it to drill the extra holes in the hardened plate? Did you need a special drill? Also, how did you measure where the holes needed to be? If you used a CNC machine, how did you align it with the plate?
