Glad you were able to meet one of our parents/mentors in person. Mr. Forbes was there taking tons of pictures, as well as providing lots of valuable insight for our team. He also seemed to take to the FIRST credo pretty well; GP is also one of my favorite, if not my favorite, aspects of FIRST. I love being able to help out others, and it also feels great knowing that if you need to fix your bot, there will be several teams willing to help, with at least one of them being your opponents in a previous or upcoming match. I guess rivalry between teams only really exists for 2 minutes and twenty seconds at a time.  |

And that is so true.
At SVR, 675 hit 1868 pretty hard into a wall and we're pretty sure, damaged them. Right after the match, I went over to 1868's pit to help them out -- they didn't need repair because of us, but for their drive system from an earlier issue. I pointed some stuff out, they fixed it, then I was on my way.
I've also showed up at random team's pits and asked if they've needed help before. It never hurts to ask!
