Re: 2007 Championship Divisions

Qualifying Teams have until Friday, April 6th to get the entry fee into the hands of FIRST. My guess is that the official lists will not be available until after then. I know of one Rookie All Star team that is definitely going that is not on the current list of 325 teams, that tells me that FIRST is only adding teams to the list as they recieve payment. 336 teams would be a round number of teams to work with. 84 teams per division would divide evenly by six and by my estimation would give each team seven qualifying matches. Roughly ten hours of matches with ten matches per hour would give you 100 matches. 84 teams divided by 6 gives you 14 matches to get every team in. 100 divided by 14 equals 7.14 matches or seven matches per team. Please don't crusify me if someone else has different numbers. It would certainly be great if we knew Friday night or early Saturday. It is so much easier to get preliminary scouting informaiton together before you leave home.

EDIT: Whoa! Just saw the post before mine. 344 Teams! So goes my theory. The All Star I was refering to is listed.

EDIT: Sorry Raul from 111, I did not see your earlier post, my mistake, at least we agree on the numbers though!
