well, i had a fun time. some team mentors/advisors brought some kids from their teams who didnt really want to go, and who sat outside complaining about it. all of them ended up coming in, and most of them had a good time. if you got up and danced instead of sitting in a corner, it was a lot of fun. everyone on my team tried to make sure no one was left alone at tables unless they wanted to be. one of the kids who didnt want to go in made a shout-out at the end of the night to everyone on our team saying something along the lines of "thank you team 399 for making me come in. it was really fun." i know that made our team all sentimental.
hopefully more people will come next year.
