Re: Patents received by FIRST Teams

Andy Baker and Mark Koors were granted a patent for the ball drive system that team 45 built in 2003. The patent number is 6,802,381. See the following threads, also: http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=18790 and http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=18772

The Thunderchickens (217) applied for a patent for their continuously variable transmission used in 2002. The application number is 20040166981, with more details available here: http://www.freepatentsonline.com/20040166981.html. The patent does not appear to have been granted. Paul Copioli would probably have more details. See this white paper also: http://www.chiefdelphi.com/media/papers/1361

I'm definitely curious if there are others.
