Short version: 2.007 (pronounced "two double-oh seven") is a sophomore-year Mechanical Design class, formerly taught by Prof. Flowers as 2.70. This year's competition involves scoring balls or hockey pucks in low or high bins and moving the hand of a "clock" for a 2^x multiplier.
Hopefully they're webcasting my contribution: wireless real-time voltage and current feedback from the motors on the scoring/timing display. <3 Zigbee. Look for FRC 97's demo during the webcast tomorrow...hoping to lift Prof. Slocum with our ramp.
