We've stayed at both the Super 8 and Candlewood. Both are clean and suitable hotels, if you're not looking for the Ritz. The Candlewood is slightly better quality but is also more expensive. It's also more of a standard hotel with a single building and room doors opening into interior hallways, while the Super 8 rooms are divided into a number of 2-story buildings with doors opening to the outdoors. The Super 8 has an outdoor pool and offers a complimentary continental breakfast.
I didn't. I was getting $80 including taxes from various online sites, and $67 for AAA members I believe. But hmm, $69 for a room that sleeps 4+....
