I did this for my prom too! Mine was blue and then we painted glitter on. I had a purse, shoes, and flowers too. Mine was all duct tape but my date cheated and put duct tape over his cloths to make a tux.
It took us probably 15 hours to make and about $60 worth of duct tape. It was hard to move in but fun. We ended up getting an honorable mention and when a $500 scholarship plus other goodies.
