Re: Build a PVR

I figure this is as good a place as any to ask this question.

I have a Hauppauge WinTV-PVR-150 MCE tuner in my computer that is running XP Media Center. I am unsatisfied with Windows Media Center's file size to quality of video ratio. Any other good capture software out there?

Currently, an hour of pretty good quality video from Windows MC is 2Gb on my hard disk.

Also, I'm looking for some software that can convert the 'Microsoft Recorded TV Show' format into something with a smaller file size.
