Re: LIVE UNDERWATER ROBOT COMPETITION NOW PLAYING!

For all of you FIRSTers that have been begging for a water game, this is it! This being the first year of the event, the level of competition was a little more disapointing than I would have liked to have seen, but I'm sure it will improve in the future. I challenge every FIRST team that has ever suggested a water game to take part in NURC next year. (hey, it's not expensive. We only spent 400 bucks...)

Our mission was fairly successful! We managed to pull in the highest (award eligible) mission score of 55 points. We were hoping for a higher score, but we were having dificulties with the tether snagging and insufficient lighting. This was our rookie year with a submersible robot, and so we had quite a bit to learn. We are already thinking of many improvements for next year.
