What about teams that bought playing fields and field controllers? My team spent a lot of money on these items, with the hopes of being able to use them for several years. We held several scrimmages with surrounding teams, and were looking forward to trying to start a Delaware Valley Vex League.
FIRST better have a really good reason for changing systems other than a difference of opinions. I really like the VEX system size, cost and performance. Is there a big request to get rid of VEX? I know the teams I have talked to have been very pleased with it. I know at championships field control was a big issue, but I think it could be resolved.
This is like in the 80’s when Coca-Cola introduced “New Coke” without anyone really asking for it. Eventually they went back to Coke Classic.
