In this
picture the shooter robot on the far right used 8 motors, 4 on each side, to get about a 1:22 gear ratio, I think I don't exactly remember what it was. Even then it was only able to shoot them 5-6ft before they hit the ground and maybe only a couple of feet up in the air. Shoot a whiffle ball with spinning wheels is not easily done with VEX motors.
