Don't you think that the "I am Megatron!" line was in response to the dialogue that was taking place right in front of him? Some believe that when you are frozen you can still take in whatever is taking place around you. Remember the idiot arguing with the kid about his name? Well, Megatron was just telling everyone that his name was megatron, not NVE1.
I started laughing when he screamed it out.
