William "Billfred" Leverette, had a layover of about eight hours in Union Station in Washington, DC yesterday. At Union Station yesterday, General Motors displayed their
Chevrolet Volt concept (
my photos of it); General Motors sponsors FRC team
67, which made Einstein in 2004--the same year as a certain
Team Hammond. Team Hammond's alumni include
Amanda Morrison, whose current day job (besides, if the rumors are true,
rocking out) is with
FIRST Tech Challenge*, which currently uses the
Vex Robotics Design System--a system that has seen many improvements at the hands of one
JVN.
