This year we had a similar situation to #1. We had one of the best scoring robots at the Wisconsin regional and we were ranked first at the end of qualifying. Unfortunately, in the semis, we lost to 2 ramp robots and 1 ramp/scoring hybrid which was mostly a ramp-bot. Even though we didn't win the regional or make it to Atlanta
, all of us are extremely proud of our bot. Thats why I'd choose #1.
Atlanta may be fun, but having a great robot is funner.
