When i speak, i am speaking for the five of my team members (including myself) who went to the robo prom last year. We thought it was a great event that was put on, an it was nice mingling with other people in FIRST you usually dont get to talk to, or you havent even met yet. Its just an excuse to dress up with friends and have a good time. I know that a few of my friends who went last year are planning on attending this year, (if there is one), but i will be at college so it a no go for me. It really was a great event, an the only thing i might see as a problem is the people who are not staying in the hotel that is takes place in. I dont know about other teams, but i know my mentors are not very keen on letting us out of our hotel to do stuff without an adult. Other than that one possible issue, i think it would be a great idea to have another robo prom at championships this coming year.
