In the 2007 Good Practices paper (
http://www2.usfirst.org/2007comp/other/2007%20Guidelines_Tips_Good%20Practices_RevC.pdf), the Globe Motor is described as being used for "4WD/2WD transfer mtr." A little search on Wikipedia revealed that this motor would be found in the transfer case of an automobile to shift between 4 wheel drive and 2 wheel drive. And Globe Motors makes transfer case actuator motors, but does not let you use this in a product description search. However, this information might help you find some leads.
