Re: Personal Alternatives to "We Are the Champions"?

OK, if we are going to have a "champions song" (for what it is worth, I am just fine with sticking to "We Are The Champions") and we are taking new suggestions, then we might consider "Hit Me With Your Best Shot" by Pat Benatar.

But if there is going to be a "champion's song" shouldn't there also be a song for those that are smack dab in the middle of the pack, and those at the tail end of the rankings? For the former, I would suggest "Stuck In The Middle With You" by Bob Dylan, and for the latter how about "Funeral For A Friend" by Elton John?

p.s. and for those of you that still think you will be able to sleep at night, I want you to consider the horrible collision of misfortune that will befall all those that choose to attend the 2008 IRI Talent Show, should the truly unimaginable actually happen - a duet performance of Patsy Cline's "Crazy" featuring both Karthik and Travis.
