I was about to disagree with this statement, as I consider myself a "serious music addict", until I ran through some numbers.

I have ~100 CD's.
Each has ~15 tracks.
(1500 total songs)
Each track is ~3 minutes long.
(~4,500 total minutes (75 hours btw.)

@ 128 kb for music, a minute is about a MB.

4500 MB = 4.39 GB for ~100 CD's worth of music!

Now, 128kb bitrate quality is just my preference, but at this rate my 30 GB Zune can hold plenty more than I need.
Makes sense I guess, unless I buy some converters, and throw on some DVDs or other videos.

For a real world example, 2,007 songs (random number I know, but that's what it is) only take up about 3-3.5 GB on my player now. Not a bad deal. I have some 30 second songs, and some 12 minute long ones.
But still not so bad.
