I drove it for about an hour and a half, then it decided to overheat. Pulled the heads saturday and discovered a cracked head, both head gaskets blown, and a hole in one of the pistons. So, looks like no more 2.9 v-6, this baby will get a ford 5.0 (302cid) and aod or c4 tranny.

Be sure to get as big a radiator as you can in it, or you'll face the overheating problem again! Should go better with all 8 pistons....
did you do all the work on the truck? looks like a great job!
